Installation on the following models:
Evolution D5 4 Passenger & 6 Passenger & 2+2 Models

Preparation: Before installation, ensure the vehicle’s floor and the back of the Xtreme Mat are clean and completely dry. For optimal Velcro adhesion, wipe the back four corners of the mat with rubbing alcohol to remove any grime or residue. This helps the Velcro dots stick securely and ensures a snug fit.

How to Clean and Maintain Your Golf Cart Mats

  1. Remove the Mat - Take the mat out of your golf cart before cleaning.
  2. Use Ammonia-Free Soap - Clean the mat with water and a mild, ammonia-free dish soap. For stuck-on debris, use a soft-bristle brush to gently scrub the surface.
  3. Dry Thoroughly - Use a towel to dry the mat completely or allow it to air dry in direct sunlight.
  4. Clean the Factory Flooring
  5. If the cart is stored outdoors, wash the factory flooring with the same ammonia-free soap to remove dirt and moisture buildup.
  6. If stored indoors, a quick wipe with a damp cloth followed by drying is sufficient.
  7. Apply a Protectant (Optional) - To extend the life and appearance of your mat, apply a rubber-safe protectant such as Mothers Protectant or 303 Marine & Recreation Protectant after cleaning and drying.
  8. Reinstall Only When Completely Dry - Make sure both the mat and the cart flooring are fully dry before reinstalling to prevent moisture buildup.

Positioning the Mats: Place the D5 floor mats in their designated positions. Ensure they fit snugly against the contours of your vehicle's floor.


D5 2+2 Models::

Velcro Dots (For 4F and 6F mat sets only):

  • For 4 Passenger Forward-Facing D5 models, 4 Velcro dots are included. Use one Velcro dot in each corner of the mats for secure placement.
  • For 6 Passenger Forward-Facing D5 models, 8 Velcro dots are included. Again, use one Velcro dot in each corner for stability.

     

    Applying Velcro Dots:

    • Clean the area on the vehicle's floor & on the backing of the floor mat where the velcro dots will be applied to ensure a secure bond. Use alcohol to remove any grime for best adhesion.

    • Peel the backing off each Velcro dot.

    • Firmly press one dot onto the underside corner of the mat.

    • Attach the corresponding dot to the vehicle's floor in the same location.

    Final Check: After all dots are applied, ensure the mats are secure and properly aligned. Adjust as necessary for a perfect fit.
